Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team, you'll play a core part in providing fantastic customer service.

**The Hours**:720 hours to be worked over the duration of the contract. You'll be working around 22.5 hours per week.

**The Salary**:£6,912

**Duration**:Fixed Term Contract until 31/10/23

You'll be required to work 1 weekend in 3.

**This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the year.**

A full UK driving licence is required, as you'll be driving our Facilities buggy through the Estate.

What it's like to work here:Home to the Anson family since 1624, the Shugborough Estate is the complete working estate. The estate includes a Georgian mansion house with magnificent views over the riverside garden terraces, Grade 1 listed parkland, walled garden and working farm. More recently, Shugborough was the home of Patrick Lichfield, photographer and cousin to the Queen, and features in much of his work.

What you'll be doing:As the Facilities Assistant, you'll assist with the day to day cleanliness and presentation the National Trust’s buildings and outdoor spaces. You’ll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor maintenance ensuring all our facilities are kept in good working order. You'll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries.

Duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter picking will form a core part of the role, both inside and outdoors. You’ll ensure the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a ‘customer comes first’ attitude. General maintenance work and helping within other teams will also form part of your role.
