**A bit about us: **

The Air Ambulance Service provides two very important functions, Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) and The Children's Air Ambulance which provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Our objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with our work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies. We are at the forefront of innovative clinical care and we challenge boundaries. None of this can be achieved without a hugely dedicated team of colleagues, volunteers and the general public.

We are looking for a Website Manager to lead on the functionality and content of The Air Ambulance Service's websites to maximise the experience of our audiences and supporters. You'll lead the current and future direction of theairambulanceservice.org.uk, managing many internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver products and campaigns to grow our reach, awareness and increase support.

The role will be an integral part of a talented Digital Team that shares a passion for our cause and is creative, collaborative, and supportive. This is an excellent time to be joining the wider Marketing and Communications team which is investing further in digital. We are continuously developing our network of partnerships and fundraising campaigns and evolving new products for our supporters whether this is for retention or recruitment.

We have significant plans to evolve our digital footprint and ecommerce connectivity to reach more supporters, promote our lifesaving services further and to generate the income required to continue to save lives.
You are a creative, forward thinking team player, who can turn ideas into reality. You have experience managing a development agency and providing technical Marketing support. You will be adept in using WordPress CMS and WP Engine hosting and will have UI and UX skills.
**Key Responsibilities: **
- Develop and work with a high performing Website team (Digital Content Officer and Website Ecommerce)
- Manage and improve content and functionality for The Air Ambulance Service websites
- Improve performance while designing and commissioning new components/features.
- Manage project work including digital aspects of major fundraising, awareness, policy and research campaigns
- Manage third-party suppliers, platforms and tools (web development, search and PPC partners)
- Analytics and reporting to ensure regular reporting on digital engagement activity produces actionable insights
- Investigate, evaluate and deliver new ways of generating additional traffic, orders and increasing basket value
- Work collaboratively to grow our ecommerce proposition and results

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous line management and agency management experience
- Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques, processes and best practice.
- Expertise managing a digital content production workflow.
- Experience managing web development processes, with experience of working in an agile environment.
- Detailed experience of working with and developing across WordPress
- Experience of successfully using data-led insights to support continuous improvement in a digital context.
