**About you**:
- Demonstrable good awareness of the Savings and Retirement Market - with an established depth of technical expertise of relevant products, markets, systems and processes of the specific proposition(s) allocated.
- Self-learner - a desire and ability to constantly expand and deepen knowledge.
- Be highly numerate, comfortable working with numbers and curious about the trends and insights these reveal - you will need to be able to evaluate data to see the patterns and make recommendations.
- Effective communication and persuasion skills - to enable presentation and resolution of complex technical issues with line management, often without supervision or need for referral.
- Good influencer and relationship builder - able to work across organisations collaboratively and able to hold others to account for their delivery responsibilities.
- Detail focus - Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Self-motivated - and be able to work under your own initiative with mínimal supervision.
- Good motivator - ability to support & develop analysts within the team as they build their experience.
- Flexible - willing to work as part of a team, and often lead initiatives and open to taking on new opportunities.
- Understanding of regulatory framework - within which business and products must operate, including FCA rules & regulations.
**Details**:
- Own the development and production of regular MI and reporting data on the designated proposition area, providing insight into the market, business volumes and positioning to support pro-active monitoring of the business across the value chain (sales, marketing, pricing and service).
- Interpret and use complex data provided by Proposition Analysts to identify and develop actionable steps to improve proposition and processes to support our adviser & customer base.
- Develop SME insight from the analysis and information available to ensure the proposition is meeting its targeted needs by; assessing performance against its key performance indicators and plan expectations and generating in-depth analysis, highlighting key variances or trends in performance and consistently recommending specific areas for improvement.
- Lead specific and agreed proposition change initiatives through to implementation, working collaboratively across functional teams.
- As an effective proposition champion, able to convey the value of the propositions internally with high impact.
- Support and lead the effective management of third-party relationships - specifically with external research agencies.
- Develop analysis of competitor products in a decision ready format for use by cross functional stakeholders within the business
- Consistently demonstrate a strong customer and risk culture evidenced through natural adherence to the expected control framework, leading the preparation of regular proposition reviews, timely renewal of product documentation, and product risk assessments.
- Undertake assessments and resolution of audit actions and risk events.
