We are currently looking for a Housekeeper at the Carlton Hotel. Hours of work are typically between the hours of 6am - 4pm. There will be one in every 8 weeks where you may be requested to support the housekeeping of an event within the hotel.

**Your duties will include**:

- Cleaning of all public areas within the hotel
- Cleaning of all bedrooms within the hotel as per day to day occupancy and expected arrivals, ensuring all special requests for rooms are carried out
- Ensuring that all rooms are cleaned to the standard as set by the company relevant documentation is completed for room checks.
- Ensure all faults within rooms and public areas are report to the Duty Manager.
- Reporting of any concerns regarding guest abuse of bedrooms.
- Ensuring the comfort and safety of all guests within the hotel.
- Adhering to all instructions as given by Duty Manager and Head of Housekeeping
- Ensuring working and public areas are kept clean and tidy and safe from hazards

**Person Specification**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning (desirable)
- Must be hard-working, reliable and punctual
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong customer service
- Can work well independently and as part of a team
