Head Housekeeper

Job Summary:
DeiRa Hotel & Apartments is a family-run boutique hotel and apartments, where style and comfort blend with our warm Scottish hospitality to create the perfect destination.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to join our team.

**Duties**:

- Organise employee’s schedules, ensure that employees receive ongoing training and hold staff meetings to keep employees updated on all procedures and policies
- Ensure that shifts are properly covered, ensuring team member productivity and room cleanliness.
- Ensure bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ensure correct levels of stock including chemicals, consumables and linen are kept at correct level by using a par stocking process
- Work closely with the linen supplier ensuring counts and orders are placed in a timely manner, ensure sufficient levels of linen are in line with the hotels occupancy, there should be no over stock
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms
- Make beds and change linen
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established health and safety, Fire procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry is essential
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within housekeeping
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
