Lichfield, United Kingdom Kids Village Full time

**Kids Village**

Creating the UK's first holiday village just for children with critical illness and their families.

Our clear aim is to support children with critical illness and their families by providing crucial respite from the trauma of being in hospitals.

**Who is for?**

Kids Village supports not only the child with a critical illness but also the family around them: the siblings, the parents and any other family members who have been there to help.

**What does it look like?**
- Kids Village provides breaks in beautiful settings in special places designed for children with childlike imagination and 'magic' at the heart.
- Kids Village is unique and special, an experience for the whole family to look forward to in their darkest moments.
- Kids Village is not a medical facility and will not look like one.
- Kids Village is a safe, compassionate and understanding bubble for children and families who may look or feel 'different' to their peers.

**What does it feel like?**

Children staying at Kids Village will feel special, safe and loved. Following prolonged periods of isolation and time in and out of hospitals away from 'normality', Kids Village aims to share the joy of what the world can offer.

Kids Village aims to create life-long memories and give children hope and confidence for the future.

**Where is it?**

Kids Village will be just north of Lichfield in the West Midlands.

Kids Village is inspired by a personal story, here our story on facebook/instagram/tiktok:
