Cactus Financial Planning is a firm of Independent Financial Advisers based in the centre of Cheltenham. We specialise in providing retirement and investments advice to medium and high net worth individuals.

**Job Outline**

We are looking for a part time financial administrator - circa 20-24 hours per week. You will be involved with all aspects of client administration ensuring portfolios are maintained on various platforms, updating client records and producing client facing documentation. As we grow our business, you will be key in helping us expand and grow our client support.

Administration support for existing and new clients. Working closely with the financial advisers to ensure client records are updated and maintained. Liasing with product providers to obtain client information and dealing with client queries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Updating and maintaining client databases and registers
- Liasing with product providers to obtain and update client information.
- Preparation of client reports and valuations
- Handling the administration of client pension, investment and protection products
- Processing investments, fund switches and sales documentation
- Dealing with client queries.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong accuracy skills with a keen eye for detail
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Experience of using Intelligent Office (IO) would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
