Plumbing World is a Distributor of Plumbing and Heating products based in the West Midlands offering quality goods and exceptional customer service.

We are growing and evolving at pace - therefore we need another high calibre and passionate Warehouse Assistant.

This is a hands-on role to ensure the provision of a professional incoming goods, storage and dispatch service to customers, encompassing both speed and accuracy to maximise customer satisfaction.

**You must have pride in your work, a team player but be able to work on your own initiative.**

**Key responsibilities (not exclusive)**
- Ensuring the warehouse is tidy and provide a welcoming and efficient space for customers and staff.

Ensuring all goods delivered to Plumbing World are checked and put away safely and securely and all paperwork completed
- Ensure all goods collected from suppliers are correct, put away and all paperwork completed as required
- Ensure all goods to be delivered to customers are done so in a timely and effective manner, minimising mistakes and breakages and exceeding customers’ expectations.
- Safe delivery of goods between warehouses and some customers may be required

**Person specification**
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills
- High work ethic as this is a very busy role
- Fork lift truck licence an advantage
- Methodical with good attention to detail.
- Full clean driving licence desirable
- **To note - manual handling of goods will be involved within this role so must be physically fit.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Material Moving & Warehousing Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
