**THE ROLE**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Events and Projects Co-ordinator to join our Stakeholder Engagement team in Horley on a fixed term contract for 2 years.

Working as part of a small strategic team, the purpose of this role is to ensure we deliver high-quality and well-organised external stakeholder engagement events (both online and in-person) and keep accurate records of our stakeholders and engagement activities,as part of our RIIO-GD3 business planning process.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Coordination of stakeholder engagement events:

- working with business leads to accommodate their requirements
- managing venue/online platform logistics
- organising planning calls and pre-event action-tracking
- issuing invites, tracking attendee numbers and communicating with stakeholders pre and post events
- providing live support at events (Q&A box responses, reacting to ad hoc issues and requests for support from stakeholders)
- assisting in the production of post-event reports and tracking actions with business leads through to completion
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing data management of a new Stakeholder Relationship Management toolwhich is currently being implemented across the business. This will include record-keeping, action-tracking and production of MI reports**.**:

- Providing financial and administrative support to the wider Stakeholder Engagement team,such as raising purchase orders, record-keeping, invoice receipting and administrative support to some of our key stakeholder forums

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Highly competent IT skills, including good knowledge of Power point and Excel
- Proven experience of organising events
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills. Any formal project management qualifications would be a bonus but not a requirement
- A self-starter capable of working effectively without close supervision when required
- Track record of maintaining working relationships with a broad mix of internal and external stakeholders
