Purpose of the role:
The finance officer is responsible for the financial systems of CVS South Gloucestershire and to model good practice and finance support to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations that operate in South Gloucestershire. To work with the CEO on all aspects of financial planning and budgeting, liaise with Treasurer, Auditors and the Board of Trustees ensuring financial and accounting systems confirm with SORP requirements.

The postholder will be involved with, but not limited to;
- Undertake the financial administrative systems for payroll, invoicing, SAGE entry, purchase orders, bank reconciliation, and individual project funding.
- Provide quarterly reports to the CVS Trustees regarding the financial performance of the organisation.
- Manage CVS payroll.
- To help deliver the CVS South Gloucestershire vision of a thriving, independent, diverse, innovative, and resilient VCSE sector providing high quality services and making a positive difference to people’s lives.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £32,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 8 per week
