This is a beautiful and unique John Lewis Partnership owned hotel, set in 130 acres by the River Thames in Cookham, Berkshire. It offers both character and charm to our guests.

The guests can stay in one of 5 beautiful houses on the site, each maintaining the period look of its time with access to the picturesque grounds including a private stretch of river, water gardens, a pool and sports facilities. The main building Lullebrook Manor and its grounds are thought to have been the inspiration for the classic novel The Wind in The Willows bringing history along with relaxation.

Relaxation can be further achieved with a visit to our Serenity Spa, offering beauty treatments and massages or afternoon tea on the terrace, a drink in the bar or a meal overlooking the river.

**About the role**

We are currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Assistant to work as part of a busy team to deliver a first rate guest experience through the focus on the cleanliness and maintenance of standards throughout the hotel.

We’ll need you to be self-motivated and industrious. Have meticulous attention to details and be able to work under pressure. You’ll need a customer mindset and be a team player.

We would like you to bring your attention to detail and great customer service skills to join our friendly Housekeeping team.

You'll work predominantly in Housekeeping but also have the opportunity to assist in our own laundry so you'll enjoy plenty of variety.

There is some lifting in this role, which could be bedroom furnishings and bedroom laundry, across our Estate buildings.
