Twenty4Seven Education is delighted to be working alongside this amazing primary school located in a residential area in Pontypridd, RCT. They are looking for an experienced teaching assistant who will show dedication and passion for learning and will support a pupil in year 3 with Additional learning needs on a one-to-one basis.

They are looking for a teaching assistant who will show a passion for learning and dedication to the development of each pupil individually.

**The Role**

**As a one-to-one Teaching Assistant you will**:

- Work on a one-to-one basis with a pupil with Additional learning needs
- Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum
- Assist pupils in making progress academically, socially, and personally
- Get to know the pupil and learn how to support them further in the best way possible
- Work in small groups of pupils completing set learning activities
- Support the classroom teacher and work with small groups of pupils
- Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities
- Will be enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate
- Will have experience working within an educational setting
- Will have a good command of the English language
- Will be able to implement and adapt learning activities
- Teaching assistant qualifications are also desirable but not essential

**Salary**: £75.00-£85.00 per day

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pontypridd: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
