**Job Description**:

- Join us as a GIS Specialist where you will support the delivery of a high performing global agronomy and commercial strategy team - to help focus inputs and outputs for business planning.
- Lead the development and delivery of a GIS function to inform and guide Agronomy and Commercial Strategy programmes through interactive tools that resolve real knowledge and focus decision making.
- Support development of crop nutrition strategies that leverage the unique characteristics of polyhalite
- Support creating deep understanding of how new minerals like polyhalite provides new functions and benefits to crop production systems
- Contribute to and lead new data sources (spatial data, remote sensing, logistics data, IoT etc.) to add depth to existing knowledge and analysis.
- Contribute to effective data storage and retention (databasing etc).
- Communicate technical knowledge to our global technical and commercial teams.
- Deliver project results and provide knowledge transfer to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to effective and improved end-end of geospatial data analysis and reporting functions.
- Contribute to updating budget expenditure and activity status.
- Qualifications
- A university degree in a GIS related discipline with experience of developing land/agricultural solutions.
- Demonstrated technical skills and expertise in the use of ESRI desktop software platform, in exposure to GIS software (e.g. Arc GIS, QGIS, GRASS)
- Outline understanding of crop production systems and practices for large scale agricultural production systems (support available).
- Experience with programming languages and software (e.g. Python,.NET, JavaScript) to automate GIS workflows.
- Ability to manage confidential and highly sensitive information with the highest levels of discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills. Highly proficient in spoken and written English essential.
- Advanced time and project management skills. Agile preferred.

- A valid UK country driving license is required for this role
