Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for young children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualized care and attention to meet the needs of each child
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum and lesson plans
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Level 3 Early Years preferred but level 2 considered.
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education (EYFS2023)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children

**Skills**:

- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Excellent observation and assessment skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child health, safety, and hygiene practices
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools for teaching purposes
