The IOE Research Operations Team provides administration and support for a diverse range of funded research activity undertaken by academic staff based within the Institute of Education in line with our mission in leading education and social research. We work with a wide range of funding bodies, covering research councils, national and international charitable organisations, central government, local authorities, private sector commercial organisations and the European Union.

**About the role**:
You will work as part of a team of research administrators, providing comprehensive pre and/or post administration support for a diverse range of funded research activity across the IOE.

You will be responsible for supporting research activity for one or more of the academic departments; this can be supporting an entire department or working in collaboration with another research administrator to support a large academic department.

**About you**:
You will have experience of using and developing computer based and manual administrative systems which facilitate our work and that of others, and ensure that such systems are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
You will have excellent record keeping skills along with a high degree of accuracy in your work and proven ability to pay close attention to details.

Experience of working in Higher Education is desirable.
