Healthcare Assistant - Outpatients

Our Brentwood Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Health Care Assistant in our Outpatients Team.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, who are passionate about patient care, you will gain from the exposure across the hospital from minor ops, plastics, gyno and ENT scopes plus more. This hardworking team are looking for someone who can multi task, have good IT skills who shares their passion. You will need to be NVQ 3 qualified with outpatient experience is a bonus. The opportunity

To be part of a dynamic team, providing support for Consultants and Colleagues As our Health Care Assistant you will:
Responsible for preparing the rooms for the consultants.
Ensuring that the appropriate equipment is available and ready for use.
Responsible for assisting consultants in clinic and chaperoning in addition to making appointments, printing results etc.

The person

**To succeed as a Health Care Assistant, you will need**:
Experience within an Outpatient department is desirable
Qualifications Minimum of NVQ 3
To be enthusiastic
Quick learner
The ability to multi task
Team worker
To be a good communicator
IT skills

About Brentwood Hospital

Our modern, well-equipped hospital provides a range of services and treatments from outpatients and minor procedures through to inpatients and major surgical specialties. Hospital facilities include 42 beds, 4 Theatres, an Endoscopy Suite, 16 consulting rooms, MRI, CT, General Imaging, Pathology, Physiotherapy and an onsite Pharmacy. We are established as one of the leading providers of healthcare in the area and have just completed a major refurbishment of the Endoscopy Unit.
