LKAB Minerals UK are looking for an organised Production Planner to form part of the customer services and planning team based at Flixborough, reporting directly to the Customer Services and Planning Manager. The Production and Materials Planning role ensures our Flixborough site is planned correctly and efficiently, whilst ensuring that all required materials are in stock at the correct time and prioritised effectively.

This role requires planning and production reporting to maintain sales at Jubilee plant and the incumbent will require strong relationships with Operations, Customer Service and Technical.

This role is pivotal to ensure lead times and customer service levels are maintained for the Flixborough site, as this could lead to drops in sales and reputation.

The role will report into the Customer Service and Planning manager and is based at Flixborough.

**Responsibilities & key work tasks**
- Create & execute a production weekly plan and coordinate production workflow of multiple products
- Plan & prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time, feedback through to internal teams and systems as to when stock is available
- Enter all production into our internal System (Visma)
- Obtain output information, update the production plan & other internal measures
- Maintain BOM’s (Bill of materials)
- Raise new products as & when required
- Drive our monthly stock counts & our ongoing cycle counts

Required education, experience and qualifications
- Demonstrable communication, numeracy & Organisational skills
- IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Platforms
- Time management skills & the ability to prioritise their workload effectively
- Problem-solving skills & the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues
- Able to work with a team, take direction from others and collaborate effectively
