**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity to join the busy and experienced team at Beckton (THP) as a Process Technician, you will be trained in the role and have the opportunity to develop your own personal skill sets.
The purpose of this role is to perform a range of assigned front-line activities including operation, sampling, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure that services are delivered to time, cost, and quality standards. In some cases,this may include planned and preventative maintenance of equipment to support the operation of the plant. Job role also includes sampling duties - performed daily, sampling collections to be sent off to Thames Water laboratories to ensure our effluent qualityand process data meet the required standards.
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Process sampling - Collecting, testing, and analysing results of a number of samples, vital to the efficient running of the plant
- Process optimization - understanding principles of operation
- Routine checks/maintenance - Undertake checks on key items of the plant including safety control systems to maintain statutory compliance, managing the delivery of chemicals, and plant housekeeping
- The monitoring, collating, and reporting of data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance is met
- Close communication and liaison with the wider site team and those working on the effluent process

**To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:**:

- Basic literacy and numeracy required plus completion of (or be willing to work towards) NVQ level 2 units or equivalent experience would be an advantage.
- Computer data input /inquiry experience is desirable.
- Please note: You must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures including Confined Space Entry.
- Full UK driving licence is essential as you will be driving company pool vans around on-site.
