Application Owner

This role would also include:

- Proactive contribution to developing the Application strategy and delivery methodologies, to ensure good alignment to operational execution, business journeys and overall architecture roadmap
- Stakeholder management including influencing the roadmap planning, driving the change delivery priorities and ensuring business owners are aware of technology changes
- Work with other technical teams to maintain and continuously develop the operational policies and standards and ensuring they are implemented and governed / audited appropriately
- Make key decisions on performance and operability including capacity and availability management, anticipating business demands and expectations and growth, including the definition and delivery model of non-functional requirements and operational acceptance testing criteria.
- Be an active participant in the project delivery Lifecyle and key gates / meetings or scrums, including reviewing project and supplier documentation, to provide sign-off of relevant designs and go / no-go decisions including the agreed project approach of either agile or waterfall
- Plan and coordinate responses to security and audit issues (for example, driving emergency OS patching plans for L1 / 2 to follow).
- Fully engage in the project methodology using the bi-modal approach of waterfall and Agile delivery. Ensure that IT Ops are fully integrated and Operational capabilities are delivered within the project timeframes.
