**The Copthorne Tara Hotel is looking for a Group Reservations Supervisor to join its busy and exciting department.**

The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is an elegant contemporary 4-star hotel in prestigious Kensington, located two minutes’ walk to High Street Kensington Underground station, making exploring easy. The hotel offers well-appointed and comfortable guest rooms combining Standard, Superior and Club accommodation. Club rooms offer iconic views over the city and include Club Lounge access for complimentary breakfast and refreshments.

Guests can sample the authentic Singaporean, Malaysian and Chinese cuisine at Bugis Street, traditional pub fare at the Brasserie Restaurant & Bar or relax with an afternoon tea in the tea lounge.

**What will I be doing?**

As **Group Reservations Supervisor **, you will maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of group reservations, by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. **Group Reservations Supervisor **will interact frequently with Guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business. Specifically, a **Group Reservations Supervisor **will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

- To supervise the Group Reservations Executives in the quoting and administration of all group bookings, including the training and development of the team.
- To adhere to and help implement the department SOPs and ensure compliance from all team members in the department
- To create and send daily reports to the relevant team members/managers of the status of blocks/groups and any other relevant information
- To make and/or aid the team in making decisions on the acceptance or rejection of group bookings based on rate and availability in order to maximise hotel revenue.
- To ensure all group enquiries for the Corporate, Ad HOC and convention groups are responded to within the specified time frame of the departmental SOPs
- To ensure a rolling quarterly check is made on all incoming groups and options held to ensure accurate inventory availability, and to check and manage the Block Forecast Report, ensuring all groups are chased, information is up to date and accurate.
- To ensure full communication lines are open with all relevant departments on all group matters and to attend Pre-Con meetings, show-rounds and FAM trips as required
- To chair the weekly Operations Meeting in the Groups Manager’s absence.
- To check and sign all completed Group files to ensure accuracy and completion before being passed to Reception in the absence of the Groups Manager.
- To maximise hotel revenue by taking every opportunity to up-sell products and hotel services whenever possible, and actively encourage the Group’s team to do the same
- To be aware of the Hotel’s financial targets and the contribution made by the individual and group reservations teams in achieving those targets.
- To ensure cancellation policies are followed and deposits are taken correctly.
- Ensure accuracy of reservation market codes according to company guidelines
- Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
- Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned group arrivals

- Demonstrated previous experience working in the Reservations or Front office department
