**Job description**

You will be working in a highly experienced and friendly Home Ownership Business Control team, who are committed to making positive change by continuing to develop a robust risk management, assurance, control and compliance environment. The Business ControlAnalyst - reports to the Senior Manager - Conduct and Assurance and plays an important, supportive role in providing assessment of control effectiveness across the Home Ownership business and third-party suppliers.

The role will support the delivery of key projects including the continued development of a 'risk-aware’ culture, enhancement of the overall customer journey and review of controls in order to assist with achieving the overall HO objective of helping customersinto and maintaining home ownership. There are some exciting and ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to have a real impact on fair customer outcomes. The role holder will be part of a team that form strong relationshipsacross the Home Ownership team and external stakeholders.

**Person specification**

Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders across Home Ownership, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and drive quality.

You'll be able to support the team’s activities by using your:

- MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Communication
- Analysis
- Investigation and problem solving skills

You will ideally have related experience in:

- Risk, conduct and compliance
- Financial services or housing industry experience
- Complaint handling
- Quality assurance

However, those with an interest and willingness to learn will be considered.

You will have the ability to look at information from a variety of sources and identify trends, risks and areas of interest to the Home Ownership business, particularly from the perspective of compliance.

You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade. You will also be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
