Kenton Black Finance are partnering with a well respected employer in the Accrington area. This business are leaders in their niche industry and are recruiting to meet the needs of their strong client base. They are therefore interviewing for a Purchase LedgerClerk to join their already experienced team. This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated and aspiring individual looking for their next step in the finance industry.
Your new role as the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be matching, checking, coding and posting invoices. You will be processing monthly payment runs, making payments via BACS, processing staff expenses, setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing accountdetails. In addition, you will be reconciling supplier statements, managing petty cash, being the first point of contact for all relevant enquiries and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Lastly, you will be reviewing systems and processes andmaking improvements where necessary.
Experience & Qualifications required to apply:
To be considered, you must possess at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Ideally you will have Excel and computer skills, excellent communication abilities and impeccable attention to detail skills. In addition, you will be capable of problem solving,possess analytical skills and capable of working well under pressure. You must be able to demonstrate that you are well-organised, and you're able to work to strict deadlines.
