Finance Shared Services Supervisor

Charlotte Tilbury are on the hunt for a Finance Shared Services Supervisor to join our growing Group Finance team. This role will support in leading the newly created shared services function and will be an integral part of enhancing capabilities in the finance department by driving best practice across the global finance function.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support with development of strategic plan for setting up shared services centre for assigned finance/ accounting activities
- Main contact for shared service team, delivering finance transactional services in line with shared services SLA
- Maintain clean general ledgers, ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled fully and reconciling items are addressed and cleared on a timely basis
- Maintenance of fixed asset register, including posting of depreciation, additions, and disposals
- Review and posting of payroll journals, including liaison with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure the information received is correctly coded and allocated
- Review and posting of accruals and prepayments - liaising with the local finance analysts and business partners to ensure all costs are correctly recorded
- Review allocation and recharge of corporate costs to other entities within the Charlotte Tilbury group
- Reconciliation of intercompany charges and agreement of balances
- Work with wider finance team to drive continuous improvement in both efficiency and governance in GL Accounting and AP processes
- Provide first line of support for GL related queries for year-end and interim audit.
- Demonstrate good understanding of transactional finance processes and use this as a mechanism to upskill the wider finance team.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA)
- Experience in a similar role using NetSuite highly desired
- Practical knowledge of IFRS as well as UKGAAP
- Good understanding of end-to-end finance processes
- Highly competent in the fundamentals of accounting
- Deadline oriented, good time management and organisational skills
- Keen attention to detail and independent thinking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills with people at all levels of the business.
- Coaching and people development skills.
