Job description

**This vacancy is only open to North Somerset Council employees and agency workers contracted to North Somerset Council.**

We are looking for a Human Resources Recruitment Advisor to join our busy Recruitment Team and continue to support the transformation of our services, providing expert first line HR recruitment advice and guidance, maintaining accurate systems and meeting key deadlines, in line with service priorities.

A key team player, you’ll be able to make an immediate impact in supporting the Recruitment Manager with running our recruitment processes and providing support to our recruiting managers across the Council. You will be encouraged to contribute your ideas and be given opportunities to input into new innovative recruitment methods. You will work with the recruitment manager on a variety of projects to continuously improve our recruitment.

You will be creative and accurate in the preparation of new documents and forms and be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of HR Recruitment processes and upcoming recruitment trends. You will be able to confidently and professionally engage with managers, employees and potential employees, to provide a confidential and efficient recruitment service.

As well as focussing on supporting the recruitment manager, a key role will be maintaining the recruitment social media pages, videos and content and therefore competence and experience in this area will be required.
