The Payroll Administrator role will be responsible for the full payroll cycle and will therefore play an integral part to the finance function and to the wider business. You will be responsible for providing the highest standard of payroll and administrationservices in a busy, fast paced environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator who is looking for an exciting and fulfilling next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities of the role:

- Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payrolls for different sized clients
- Answering client queries regarding payroll, PAYE, NIC and escalating more complex queries to supervisors
- Completing paperwork with regards to PAYE, NIC or other queries
- Responding to routine HMRC queries
- Calculating and keeping records of all payments due to the HMRC
- Keeping and filing relevant payroll files and records in good order for any inspection by HMRC
- Liaising with other teams as appropriate
- Preparing BACS payments including BACS remittance payments
- End to end payroll experience in a similar role (minimum 1 year)
- Knowledge of payroll legislation/HMRC requirements
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Good IT skills, experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and payroll systems - ideally STAR
