Our client who are a charity run organisation are seeking a temporary HR Administrator for a minimum of 3 months.
Job Title: HR Administrator
Based: Billericay
Contract: Temp, Part Time
Hours: 25 hours a week (flexible)
**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
The role:
Working in the HR and Payroll department, you will provide administration support for the
HR and Payroll team
Main duties and key responsibilities:
Maintenance of the HR data bases including:
Inputting information of new staff.
Updating and maintaining records and documentation on HR system
Recording, maintenance and reporting on annual leave, sick leave and other leave for all staff
Maintenance and calculation of leave allowances
Checking sickness certificates and ‘Fit for Work’ note
Calculation of sick pay allowances with an understanding of sick pay scheme and Statutory sick pay
Administration and diarising of recurring requirements including DBS renewals, end of probations etc
To advertise vacancies as directed by the HR Manager including posting vacancies online and on the website
Ensure relevant references are taken up for new staff and DBS and health checks are taken and recorded
Make up staff files
Provide references for former employees
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a variety of tasks
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude
- Respect and maintain confidentiality
