The Role

We are delighted to be supporting a busy, local community centre in their search for a Caretaker to help open up and prepare the centre for users at the beginning of each day. This is a hands-on role that will see you assisting with various facility responsibilities such as:
Cleaning, stocking and supplying certain areas
Carrying out general maintenance tasks
Unlocking the building and deactivating the alarm
Setting up and packing down meeting and conference rooms

**Requirements**:
This role requires someone that is highly reliable as it provides pivotal support to the centre, in preparation for each working day. You will need to be responsible and dedicated to the role, be physically fit and able to move office furniture around. You will also need to be confident is using hand tools and power tools on occasions. This role would be ideal for someone that has been a Handyman, Decorator or Facilities Assistant.
