As a **Commissioning Manager**you’ll play a vital role in**develop a co-designed Needs Assessment and Strategy for Children and Young Person's Mental Health, working with key stakeholders across Royal Borough of Greenwich, VCS, localhospitals and young people.**

**About the role**:
Based in **Greenwich** (Hybrid working), you will be tasked with the following key objectives:

- Develop the associated governance structures that enable the borough to effectively deliver the ambitions with the strategy
- Reviewing associated finance and activity and quality structures including preparation of papers, co-ordinating hard data and soft intelligence on the detailed financial and service performance of contracts and services. Using this to to inform the CYPMental Health Strategy.
- Undertaking day to day liaison with providers about the ICB's requirements and keeping them informed and up-to-date about them.
- Undertaking day to day liaison with collaborative commissioners and specialist service commissioners in order to ensure good co-ordination of commissioner requirements and to share intelligence with them.
- Working with commissioning colleagues across ICB and Local Authority managing relationships and ensuring close co-ordination of projects and services.
- Coordinating returns to the ICS,NHSE and NHSI.
- Undertaking day to day management of providers in line with the ICB and national requirements, keeping them informed and up-to-date.

**About you**:

- Demonstrable experience in Commissioning Mental Health Services for Children and Young people in a Local Authority Setting
- Demonstrated experience of coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments
- Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment Experience of managing risks and reporting
- Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence for a senior audience
- Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes
