Introduction

The Royal Borough of Greenwich Council and the South East London Integrated Care Board have come together to create an integrated approach to commissioning services within Greenwich, this postholder has a key role in implementing this new approach.

JOB PURPOSE

The Postholder will be responsible/accountable to Associate Director of Integrated Commissioning & System Development (Adults) or Integrated Commissioning Director, Children’s. Manages up to 4 directly managed staff. Manages up to 10 indirectly managed consultancy/contracting staff. The post holder will be responsible/accountable for:

Leading the development and implementation of our integrated commissioning approach for adults/children in and across the Council and the NHS, which enables strong partnerships and high-quality services that support Greenwich residents to lead healthy, fulfilling and independent lives.

Supporting senior leaders and staff through:

Partnership and co-production,

Continued design and implementation of our integrated commissioning framework

Incorporating appropriate governance structures, and which supports integrated, outcome focused approaches to health and care.

Working collaboratively with the market and residents,

Leading staff across the system to implement transformational change including further integration of health, care and other forms of support.

Overseeing the delivery of approaches to commissioning that address personalisation and whole person pathways.

The post holder will implement effective management of RBG and NHS budgets used to commission the relevant health, care and joint services for adults, /children along with the management of key staff based who could be employed by either the NHS or the Council.

Hybrid: Yes

Salary: £401 (PAYE) £499 (Umbrella)

IR35 Status: Inside

Hours: 9.00-17.00

Closing Date : 05.06.24

Duration : 3 months initially
