As a People & Resource Coordinator, you will be joining our busy office based team, working to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our Ambulance Operations department. You will oversee the planning and dispatch of our non-emergency resources, ensuring smooth daily running and the safety and welfare of both colleagues and patients. This will involve dispatching resources, working with crews, dealing with hospital colleagues and resolving any queries. You will also arrange vehicle and people planning for our Emergency contracts and crews.

You will be working to control the ambulances and crews, matching patients needs with available resources and ensuring this is done so in the most efficient way possible to best support our contracts and services. You will require a pro-active approach to problem solving, excellent communication skills and an ability to work under pressure.

Main duties include;
- Dispatching non-emergency Patient Transport vehicles across various contracts, covering the North East and North Yorkshire.
- Assisting with the booking of patient transport journeys.
- Provide quotes for journeys, ensuring these are updated onto shared spreadsheets.
- Communicating effectively with our people and colleagues in various Trusts and hospital departments.
- Process and resolve accurately requests from customers, service users and partner organisations.
- Input data accurately into our internal IT Systems.
- System allocation of non-emergency and emergency vehicles for Ambulance Operations crews.
- Working within the resource team to ensure adequate staffing and coverage for contract requirements.
- Implementation of rotas for Ambulance Operations crews, (rotas to be completed by line managers.)
- Provide general office administration support.
- Deal with telephone enquiries.
- Compile, scan and send crews paperwork, when required.

You should have;
- GCSE qualifications (including Maths and English).
- Confident IT skills, ideally familiar with Apple products.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent People skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- An ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

**Salary**: £23,920.00 per year
