**Global Head of DE& I - Retail**

**Location: London Hybrid (home and office (2-3 days a week))**

**Salary: £90-120,000 + car allowance + bonus + corporate benefits**

**Contract: Initial 12 month contract**

Our global Client has been bringing their customers a constant stream of high quality brands and trends.
With corporate headquarters in London, we are seeking an exceptional specialist to lead the global agenda on DE&I.

The Head of, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DE&I) is responsible for managing DE&I within all divisions globally. **The role**:
Provide a high level of DE&I and associate relations guidance and support to Business Unit senior leaders, Human Resources Business Partners, Recruiters, and Talent Management Professionals

Oversee and ensure the successful design, implementation, and management of business unit Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Strategies and Action Plans

Pro-actively identify potential DE&I challenges and partner with leaders as appropriate to design, execute and manage solutions

Partner with Human Resources professionals to design, develop and implement Business Unit specific, DE&I processes and initiatives including creation and execution of recruitment, retention and inclusion strategies, action plans, etc.

Provide DE&I support and guidance to DE&I Sponsors and DE&I Council members

Support and lead as necessary DE&I data reporting and analytics

Advise, lead and execute plans for celebrations and recognition

Identify and coordinate DE&I external partnerships

Serve as a DE&I Champion by modelling best practice behaviours

Provide effective support, guidance, and oversight globally ensuring alignment and integration of action plans, budgets, and programming with business, DE&I vision, objectives, and action

Support operation including DE&I implementation, member on-boarding, training, events, and adherence to guidelines nd templates; oversee strategy and work to ensure consistent execution across business units

Monitor performance metrics and leverage data analytics to identify opportunities and provide recommendations to drive DE&I and business outcomes

Lead DE&I research efforts to benchmark with external and internal stakeholders to understand inclusion, diversity, and organizational culture trends and best practices

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of process documentation

Proactively troubleshoot potential issues and recommend solutions

Serve as a representative and/or lead on assigned project teams

Consult with all levels of the organization to accurately gather and analyse data as it relates to DE&I and HR processes

**The person**:
You have a Bachelor's Degree (required); certification or advanced degree in related field is a plus

You have an excellent command of contemporary diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts and issues (e.g., recruitment and retention, access and equity, the educational impact of diversity, policy and legal dynamics of diversity, etc.)

You will have a career that demonstrates full roles in DE&I not part of a role

You have a successful record of leadership and experience in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within a complex organization

You are organized with strong project management experience

You have a proven track record in building collaborative and consultative partnerships within the business and HR. Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently

You have effective communication, influencing, and negotiation skills

You possess organizational agility

You are able to analyse complex problems and drive results

This role requires regular in-office presence 2-3 days per week, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combinationof in-office and remote work.
A key capability is to bring organisational savvy, exceptional change management skills and a proven track record of demonstrated sustained results and impactful change outcomes. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the spectrum of affirmative action, DEI andanti-racism practices and approaches. Additionally, this person will bring an external presence and evidence of collaborations with established DEI communities, trade associations and organisations.

Stylistically, you will be collaborative, organised and action-oriented, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to contribute broadly across the globe

Provide balance between strategic and operational leadership

Leads with humility and brings a positive, high-energy disposition, with the ability to inspire people to become part of the solution.

This role will require expertise in organisational change management, authentic leadership, transformation and strategic implementation.

This role will identify opportunities where leadership development or personal development investments are required for minority/ underrepresented groups and the right development solutions and investments are put into place for them.

In addition, this role will develop and build key external partnerships to ensure that we have the right stakeholder network plugged into our DEI learning and leadership development efforts and we are constantly ahead of the market in driving key investmentsand long-lasting change.

Has a finely nuanced and evolved understanding of DEI through research and networks.

Experienced in working with third party vendors to commission bespoke programs.

Experience in working in a COE, matrixed learning organisation, managing key stakeholders and leading a significant component of the leadership / learning agenda.
