**SENIOR CLINICAL LEAD**

My client is a fantastic state of the art Nursing Home rated CQC **Outstanding** located in the beautiful Oxfordshire area of Abingdon - a truly beautiful home.

The Head of Nursing will work under Registered Manager of the home. This outstanding team provides award-winning care and compassion to all of its 60-plus residents.

**Head of Nursing Responsibilities
- You will work closely with the Registered Home Manager to coordinate the day to day running of the home, ensuring the home continues to deliver excellent standards of living and care in addition to taking full responsibility for delivering the businessplan.
- NMC Registered Adult Nurse/RGN
- An experienced Senior Nurse RGN Or Clinical Lead RGN with a strong clinical background in leadership roles in a long-term adult care/care home setting
- As our Director of Nursing, you will take on the responsibility for the effective operation and delivery of the home’s business plan alongside the Home Manager.You will have join responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home to exceed CQC standards.
- You’ll recruit, induct, appraise and develop the care team to ensure that they fully trained and able to deliver the best possible care to our residents.
- You will have sound working knowledge of CQC, Safeguarding and Quality monitoring
- Well organised, with strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills
- Ensure that all nursing team are competent in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities and to carry our regular checks as required, and spot checks to be done on both day and night team

**Head of Nursing Benefits
- A permanent full-time contract working 40 hours per week on day shifts
