Planned Maintenance Manager

Established organisation based Northallerton requires a Planned Property Maintenance Manager to join the Property Management team on a permanent basis
**Your new role**
As a key member of Property Services Management Team, you will provide leadership and strategic direction across organisational teams to ensure the delivery of planned maintenance programmes. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring all elementsof planned performance., ensure all regulatory and legislative responsibilities are achieved. Be responsible for the delivery of planned maintenance programmes delivered by the Property Services Team and external contractors, including (but not limited to)kitchen, bathrooms, roofs, fencing, rainwater goods, windows & doors, external painting. To be lead on the procurement and of contractors and contract management to enable effective delivery of the planned maintenance programmes.
**What you'll need to succeed**
Relevant experience of leading and managing internal and external teams
Relevant experience of delivering multiple contracts
Procuring services and supplies and demonstrating value for money.
Developing strategies and policies.
Producing and presenting written reports.
Effectively managing expenditure within budgets.
Successful complex problem solving
Social Housing experience is desirable
Effective communicator and able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong presentation skills
Ability to organise and prioritise a complex and varied workload, forward plan to meet targets and develop detailed plans to achieve long-term aims
Numerate with an ability to analyse financial and other statistical information accurately
Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade others
Ability to produce clear and concise reports, procedural guides, etc
Competent using various IT packages
Understanding of, and ability to ensure an excellent customer experience in the delivery of services.
Sound knowledge of best practice in relation to maintenance.
