Children & Family Health Devon (CFHD) have a vacancy for a full time Senior Administrator to join our Single Point of Access (SPA) Team at Capital Court, EXETER.

You will be part of a team providing a single access point via call handling and mailbox management. Providing support for our young people, families, clinicians and partners across Devon and Torbay.

This is a diverse role that also includes data entry, use of electronic systems, producing letters and reports, processing incoming correspondence as well as daily administrative tasks.

- strong customer service and communication skills to liaise with children, young people, families and a wide range of healthcare and education professionals;
- excellent administrative skills
- use of Excel (not at advanced level), Word and Outlook
- flexibility, calmness and a positive approach
- strong organisational skills and the ability to be flexible in line with service needs
- a thorough understanding of confidentiality issues

We provide a wide range of NHS services to children, young people and families in Devon & Torbay.

Full training and support will be provided within the team.

Children and Family Health Devon is part of an Alliance that is unique and brings together six leading providers of adult and children’s community, acute and mental health services in Devon which includes;
- Torbay and South Devon FT
- Devon Partnership NHS Trust
- Royal Devon University Health Care FT
- Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust
- University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust
- Livewell South West

Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues within the Organisation. In particular, work with managers and senior practitioners to ensure that statutory and other timescales for tasks are achieved

Support and advise lower banded Business Support staff on aspects of their roles, responsibilities, tasks and workload as required (under the guidance of line manager)

The post holder is required to use his or her personal judgement to escalate or refer issues to colleagues/managers within the guidelines provided by their line manager

Organise and take appropriate notes or minutes at a range of meetings (some of which may involve sensitive and personal information about staff or service users) as agreed by line manager

Organise own day to day tasks and responsibilities and prioritise appropriately
