We are currently looking for a Stock Controller to join the team at our Kent Wheelchair Service Centre in Ashford to control and oversee equipment stock control, ensuring organisation and monitoring of stock, in accordance with the contract requirements. As a healthcare equipment provider, Millbrook Healthcare work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day to day life.

The Role:
Debrief- Assist, Senior Engineer Lead with debrief of FSE’s and provide cover in absence of Senior Engineer Lead, purchasing from manufacturer necessary parts for maintenance.
Stock/Special Equipment- Monitor and organise all stock inclusive of spare parts and equipment for handover, collaborating with Warehouse Operatives on effective stock management processes.
Reporting- Monitoring of FSE and Clinical van stock, reviewing equipment requirements, and any follow up actions for outstanding equipment.
Equipment- Monitoring and responsibility for Prescription Build/ Chair in a day stock, coordination and completion, inclusive of administration tasks regarding this including the ordering from manufacturer and utilisation of Service Centre stock where possible. Working alongside Senior Engineer Lead to achieve efficiency and lean completion.
General Duties- Monitor reporting for Warehouse equipment and investigating any short falls, providing feedback and escalation to line manager.
Team Working- Responsible for monitoring and working cohesively with all departments to ensure equipment that can be returned to stock is acknowledged and updated physically in accordance with shelf location.
Administration- Coordination of investigative work alongside Warehouse supervisor for potential risks to fulfil contract requirements.
Performance- Monitor equipment and time taken to deliver/handover across both Gillingham and Ashford and escalate this to line manager for effective action.
Stocktake - Lead and coordinate scheduled stocktakes across both Kent and Medway Service Centres. Ensuring preparation and colleague involvement are maximised and discrepancies investigated and corrected.
General administration- Duties/queries as and when required to assist with working effectively in regards to all equipment.

About you:
Effective stock management and control, accurate bin locations, with efficient processes in place.
Decrease time taken for completion of prescription builds.
Effective management of reporting for warehouse stock, being accurate and investigated in a timely manner.
Decrease in pathways to point of Handover.
Reduction in wastage of stock and awareness of stock holding to facilitate waiting list.

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 with 1 hour lunch (40 hours)
