What is the overall job?
As an integral part of the Multiplex Digital Construction Team, you will be responsible for coordination of the Digital Model environment ready for use by the Digital Manager and the rest of the project team. You will work directly with design consultants and subcontractors to obtain the model data we require to fulfil the Multiplex Digital Standard - maintaining integrity of model accuracy and data compliance at all times.
Implementation
- Manage the federation of digital models from Consultants and Subcontractors
- Support the project Digital Manager with all information required from the Digital Models
- Maintain our core Design Management platform (Revizto) ensuring information is accessible and accurate.
- Maintain the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP)
- Perform Model Assurance Checks for all information provided by Consultants and Subcontractors
- Perform clash detection and provide reports to other team members
- Incorporate as-built information from site into Digital Model Environment
- Extract key data from the Digital Model environment to support decision making
- Support Construction Team by producing 4D visualisations relating to specific construction tasks
- Incorporate 3D point cloud data when required.

Training
- Provide planned and ad-hoc training to Multiplex Team on Digital Construction software
- Provide support to Consultants & Subcontractors on Digital Construction software.

Software
- Partner with the IT Support team to ensure all Digital Construction software is available and functioning for all Multiplex team members.
- Manage the interoperability between file formats
- Administration of any site-based mobile platform
- Assist in the introduction of new technology

What do I need to be successful in this role?
- HND or Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, BIM related Msc or equivalent work experience
- Additional accreditation/certification with industries bodies such as BRE or RCIS advantageous
- Experience working in the construction industry, ideally hands-on experience of BIM technologies and coordination
- Experience using Autodesk Revit & Autodesk Navisworks.
