**Overview**:
You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience as you complete a BSC (HONS) Cyber Security Technical Professional Degree Apprenticeship.

The Cyber Security Analyst role will work as part of our UK based SOC team to maintain, monitor, and respond to various alerts from monitoring systems to improve the IT security of the customer infrastructure.

**Duties**:
Additionally, you will contribute to the efficiency and maturity of the Security Operations Centre (SOC) team by contributing to:

- Tooling
- Updating
- Keeping abreast of the latest patterns and trends within the wider security arena
- Supporting customers in any request that they have

Working at Satisnet as Cyber Security Analyst you will be on route to building a great security-themed portfolio of experience and roles and see this as the next step to develop and hone your skills.

The role will be based on a rotating shift pattern to cover the 24/7 service that we provide to customers, with good opportunity for development within the team.

**Additional Information:**

**Location:**
Will be in the Luton Office but will be temporarily remote and applicants must be within 20 miles of the office.

**Entry Requirements**:

- 120 UCAS points through A-levels or equivalent
- In order to attempt the EPA apprentices must have achieved GCSE Maths and English at Grade C - you may still enter the programme but will need to evidence Level 2 Maths and English qualification before starting the gateway and EPA

**Non-standard entry requirements**:
A good GCSE profile is expected including English Language and Mathematics at minimum grade C (or a University recognised equivalent). Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths must achieve this prior to taking the end-point assessment. If you have studiedfor a new GCSE for which you have achieved a numerical grade then you will be required to achieve a minimum grade 4.

**End Point Assessment**:
You must be able to evidence level 2 English and Maths before you start your End Point Assessment. You may still be begin the programme without these but must obtain the qualifications in order to begin the EPA.

**Future prospects:**
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
