**Job title**: Night Support Worker - Permanent

**Location**: Allington House, Bournemouth, Dorset

**Wage**: Salary of £11 per hour, £9.50 for sleep rate

**Holiday**: 6.6weeks (including bank holidays) pro rata

**Hours**: 2 night shifts and 1 Saturday day shift:
16.45 to 09.15 for night shifts and 08.45 to 17.15 for day shifts. The night shift is not a waking position although in exceptional circumstances this may be necessary to support our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting service users
- Dispensing medication
- Health and safety checks

**Details**:
We are looking for Night Support Worker to work in our Bournemouth based residential unit. No qualification or experience necessary; but it is advantageous to have:

- The Care Certificate, NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- All essential training given and employees must be willing to undergo essential training
- A full Driving License and access to a vehicle preferred
- Good people skills and computer literacy is essential

- Experience with drug and alcohol/mental health related issues
- Kind, personable with an empathetic approach
- To have clear boundaries and follow procedures and guidelines
- Self-aware and able to reflect on the work they do
- High level of trust, integrity, and confidentiality
- Committed and passionate to their work
- Work well as a team and be able to support others
- Ability to work under their own initiative, being flexible and proactive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous administrative experience in an office based environment
- Good Maths, IT and English skills
- Able and willing to undergo further training where necessary
