Senior Support Worker

Location: Wantage

Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team as a Senior Support Worker. In this key role, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to our team of support workers while ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide direct support and assistance to clients with complex needs, including personal care, medication management, and behavioral support.

Serve as a mentor and resource for support workers, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Collaborate with management and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans and support strategies.

Conduct regular assessments of client needs and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.

Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate documentation and records.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a support worker role, with demonstrated leadership abilities.

Relevant certification or training in areas such as medication administration, behavior management, or mental health support preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in crisis situations.

Commitment to upholding the agency’s values of compassion, dignity, and respect.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
