A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a Production Team Lead to join this leading Scientific Instrumentation business based in Oxford. As a company they are at the forefront of exciting complex technology that has seen the company grow significantly since it was founded over 15 years ago.

Reporting to the production manager, the Production Team Lead, Oxford will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of one production cell.
They will also ensure goods are produced efficiently and to specification, of the right quality and are produced on time and to the customer’s satisfaction.
This Team Leader will make sure that the cell can meet quality and efficiency targets and adopts continuous improvement and modern lean practices and techniques to improve cell performance.
- Stock management through the build areas
- Assisting the progression of prototype builds with a view to developing into production assemblies
- Electronics component soldering and rework, PCB modifications, cable assembling
- Providing support to resolve technical issues, ensuring all investigation work is documented, with the aim to reduce cost and improve reliability, while following current quality standards
- Defining and documenting clear written specifications and work instructions to ensure
