Deichmann Shoes have an exciting opportunity to join our growing business - working as a Retail Supervisor, at our store in Workington.

Working as a supervisor in our Workington store, you will be offered a competitive hourly rate of **up to** £11.62 per hour + non contractual performance related bonuses.

This is a part time position, and you will be contracted 20 hours per week.
- You should have previous retail experience and will have ideally worked as a supervisor previously (or at an equivalent level - for example a store team leader / department manager).
- We are looking for positive and enthusiastic individuals to lead the store team - ensuring high store standards are consistently met, whilst providing a welcoming shopping experience to our customers.

**Key activities**:

- Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Open & close the store, including cashing up and completion of associated administrative duties.
- Offer excellent levels of customer service and have a strong product knowledge.
- Lead by example, successfully promoting and recommending complimentary shoe care
- products and offering ad hoc training and support to team members as and when required, ensuring first class levels of customer service.
- Ensure that the store is correctly merchandised, product displays are refreshed and inviting to the customer.
- Process stock deliveries and store transfers.
- Champion and support the achievement of monthly targets.
- Deal with customer queries and complaints.

- Confidence and ability to supervise, motivate, coach and work with a team.
- Well organised and have a structured approach to work.
- Customer and operations / task orientated.
- Good communicator.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work at pace and under pressure.
- Ideally have previous supervisory experience including cashing up and banking.
- Fully flexible (Monday - Sunday, hours to be agreed by rota) including evenings and bank holidays.
