QA Tester

**Role: QA Tester**
**Location: Remote / Occasional visit to Peterborough OR London**
**IR35: INSIDE**
**Duration: 6 months + possible extensions**
**Rate: £500 - £550**

Concept are currently recruiting for a QA Tester to join a large programme for a leading technology solutions provider who operate in various industries such as Government, Education & Healthcare.

**Project overview**:
In this QA Tester role, you will be an integral part of the project's overall success. We are implementing a new platform (CloudBlue) and the QA Tester will take responsibility for supporting the development and integration of this platform. You be working alongside stakeholders in the business, the project team and the supplier.

**QA Tester Roles & Responsibilities**:
**Define the test cases**:

- Build strong relationships with the end user community, project team and product owner
- Define, update and maintain playbook of test cases for the CloudBlue platform you provide QA testing for
- Prioritise issues and have sufficient autonomy to make decisions

**Record Defects & Issues**:

- Reviewing and analysing system specifications
- Executing test scripts and reviewing results
- Reporting and documenting technical issues
- Provide reporting on defect tracking

**Must Have**:

- Previous experience as a QA Tester supporting software development and/or business systems projects, preferably for B2B products
- An Eye for detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with small project teams
- A data-minded and analytical approach to working
- A demonstrable track record of making progress whilst managing competing pressures and deadlines and retaining an eye for detail and quality

**Nice To Have**:

- Experience with the Microsoft CSP program
- Experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with CloudBlue
