**Job Summary**

The Software Developer (ServiceNow) implements solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform that are simple, intuitive, easy to use, and allows customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific business needs.

The Software Developer (ServiceNow) will work in a team setting on various projects and take the customer’s requirements/stories and build them on the ServiceNow platform. They have an understanding of the core ServiceNow Products (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM,HR, SecOps, CSM, GRC, etc.), may have deep strengths in one or several of these. An understanding how the ITIL framework can be leveraged to create best practices for the customer is a nice to have.

The role will also require support and development for existing CDW ITSM tooling where required and until these are retired and replaced by Service Now. There is also a requirement for limited on-call for support of existing and Service Now ITSM tooling as part of an on-call rota.

**Key responsibilities**

**Custom Application Development**:

- Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team

**Integration Pipelines**:

- Implement and manage integration pipelines, ensuring seamless connectivity between ServiceNow and other systems. Leverage traditional API integrations to enhance data exchange capabilities.

**Technical Documentation**:

- Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions, ensuring clarity for both development and operational teams.
- Work in a Scrum-based, Agile development process that is efficient on documentation and meetings and heavy on coding.

**Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams**:

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and QA testers, to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide mentorship and system led expert guidance to other members of the team.

**Problem Resolution**:

- Be responsible for updating, maintaining and communication impact of HI Tickets resolution on ServiceNow.

**Continuous Learning**:

- Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of customer needs and requirements.

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience** Management Responsibilities**
- Experience with working on ServiceNow platform or a recognised industry ITSM software. Experience with Ivanti ISM
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Proven experience in one additional product lines outside of ITSM
- Service Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred
- Knowledge of ITIL; Foundation level preferred
- Experience implementing Software using the Agile/Scrum methodology

**Essential Attributes**
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
- Experience with DevOps, Asana and CloudBlue.
- Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Angular JS, Web Services, etc.) and working in a SaaS environment
- Experience with technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO and other such technologies
- Experience with a Managed Service environment
