Here at GXO we have recently implemented a new structure for our Drinks BU and are now on the lookout for a HR Advisor. Implementing new processes and setting high standards, this is a brand-new role where you have maximum opportunity to develop this role and make it your own.

We are on the lookout for a **HR Advisor** to join us at our **Newton Heath, Manchester** site supporting our Drinks Business Unit. You’ll lead the on-site HR presence to provide efficient and effective support to the site team. This is a standalone role who will be the site lead in all people processes and support the delivery of the people plan.

This is a Permanent full time role working Monday to Friday however flexibility is required - this is logistics after all

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to **£35,000** per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Build harmonious relationships with any Trade Union to ensure optimum working efficiency
- Provide full HR generalist support and advice to Managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relation issues is maintained to ensure the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated
- Take the lead on complex ER issues
- Prepare and process letters, meeting minutes and other documents as and when required

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience of working in a fast-paced HR environment dealing with ER and recruitment activity at the same / similar level
- Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Strong in systems; HRIS, Microsoft Office such as word and Excel
- A self-motivated and flexible approach with the confidence to work both in a team and with mínimal supervision
