Lakes Home Care is looking for a female Care and Support Worker to provide home care, personal care, domestic duties and care outings to our clients in the South Lakes area.
- This post is for a full-time position, with a guaranteed hours contract to ensure you have security in your role. Please enquire for further information. _

We are a small Kendal based company offering private care to clients in their own homes. A key focus is on outings and we currently take individuals out for lunch, walking, swimming, to garden centres, climbing, trips away, and even to Kendal Ski Slope. Our motto is "A Day Filled With Joy" and that's exactly what we want you to help us to provide. We have also recently began providing personal care.

We're a unique care company because we make sure each client has a minimum visit time of 90 minutes, always allowing our carers to have time to get to know each individual and provide them with companionship, as well as the usual duties involved with caring. Lakes Home Care doesn't believe that disability or age should be a barrier to doing the things you love. We focus on finding out what excites our clients and do all we can to facilitate that for them again Thus, we currently help clients in their 70's and 80's to go climbing and skiing

**We do not require you to have any previous care experience. We hire people based on their values and attitudes.**
- A car with business insurance and a full UK driving license - you will need to get from client to client and drive them to their chosen activity - Mileage paid.
- A satisfactory enhanced DBS check
- Receipt of two references which in our opinion are satisfactory.
- Satisfactory completion of a probationary period of up to 6 months.

We are looking for someone with a smile who can go the extra mile, someone who our clients will look forward to seeing and will want to see again. We need carers with the ability to build a positive relationship whilst adopting a person centred approach.
