**This role is working with the Practice Learning Team to**:

- Lead on IT, data and digital projects to support current and future systems
- Lead and support on data reporting mechanisms
- Provide comprehensive IT support
- Developing effective and efficient systems for all stakeholders
- Support service development

Working within the People Development Service in support of the Practice Learning Team (PLT) work stream.

Leading on IT, data, digital projects and systems and supporting the team to utilise the maximum benefits from information and technology for all stakeholders involved. You will establish and lead ways in which IT, data, digital projects and systems will be utilised for others.

Liaising with IT end users, student learners and other stakeholders to understand their needs, helping to resolve issues and provide practical guidance.

Developing user guides and other Informatics resources which help staff and students to use information technology more effectively and productively.

You will be responsible for managing data collection and development of systems, web pages and processes for managing Practice Learning information, in the most effective and efficient way and to inform operational and strategic decision making.

You will provide a comprehensive IT support service to the Practice Learning Team (PLT) and will be adept at planning and prioritising their workload, using their own judgement when balancing competing deadlines.

You will need to be autonomous to manage the expectations of the demands of the role and be able to bring improvements to the teams. You will also be able to deal with the required routine procedures.

Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.

We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people’s own homes and via virtual consultations.

During the pandemic response we have led the implementation of public vaccination centres in collaboration with partners across health and social care

- To ensure a high standard of provision of a technical support service to the Practice Learning Team
- To lead on IT, data and digital projects and systems for service improvement
- Collation and analysis of internal and external information to provide benchmarking data
- Work with the Practice Learning Team to constantly improve outputs and proactively identify areas for development
- Lead on the delivery of specific delegated work, coordinating the contributions of the Practice Learning Team
- To develop, sustain and review data systems and processes to ensure the delivery of a responsive and efficient service
- Facilitate the agenda and minutes team meetings and maintain action matrix for the Practice Learning Team detailing agreed actions and progress
- Utilise IT systems for reporting and analysing Practice Learning Team data, problem solving if required. Identifying and escalating trends or issues that may require
- Propose possible developments and enhancements to practice, processes and procedures supporting implementation to improve Practice Learning Team function
- To contribute to the evaluation of the service through use of audits and outcome measures
- Undertake reviews of administration processes to inform ongoing improvements and developments to systems
