Quality Assurance Auditor

£27,750 including shift allowance

A reputable company within the FMCG industry are looking for a Quality Assurance Auditor to monitor products and food safety quality standards throughout the business to ensure product safety and legality. As a Quality Assurance Auditor your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.
- Ensure site is complying to food standards through internal auditing.
- Daily factory walk with the management team to ensure food quality and safety compliance.
- Work with the hygiene team to ensure that cleaning is been completed to a food safe standard.
- Verify all paperwork completed onsite to ensure compliance.
- Complete daily tasks including working with calibrations, scales checks, needle, scissor, and scoop checks.
- Conduct site audits including good manufacturing practice, moisture, etc and report to senior management team.
- Collate and complete chemical, microbiological & nutritional testing.
- Conduct swabbing verification - of swabs for cleaning verification and allergenic controls
- Carry out equipment calibration/verification checks.
- Maintaining Hazard analysis and critical control points within the site - Control and verification of metal detectable equipment.

An exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Auditor with the following.
- Food or FMCG Manufacturing background with experience within internal auditing.
- Ideally level 2 or 3 Hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) qualification / certification.
- Flexibility to work within a 4 on 4 rotational shift pattern.
