**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Answering phone calls and responding appropriately to the caller's needs.
- Pack and post samples. Log samples and make follow up calls.
- Printing delivery notes.
- Meeting and greeting clients.
- Arranging couriers.
- Keeping the reception area clean and presentable.
- Screening phone calls.
- Process customer payments
- Processing post, parcels and goods-inwards.
- Support the supply office.
- Maintaining security for the building and health and safety, issuing hi vis jackets and completing visitor and contractor forms.
- Notifying appropriate people that a visitor has arrived to see them.
- Signing visitors in and out.
- Keeping track of the people arriving for appointments and when they leave the building.
- General data protection awareness.
- Log templates and customers own property
- Liaise with the production department to ensure timely deliveries.
- Stay up-to-date with new products and offer an upselling philosophy.
- Maintain security by following procedures and ensuring visitors do not pass through reception before being processed.
- Keep a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures and safety rules
- Issue contractor forms, hot works permits and asbestos form as required for contractors.
**Knowledge & Experience**:

- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly driven.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience as a receptionist / trade counter an advantage but not essential
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- A team player with high level of dedication
