**Your New Role**
Sedgwick Resource Solutions are looking for a committed and adaptable frontline customer service representative for our internal client team. You will have a strong background in frontline customer service in a fast-paced and high demand environment, ideally with telephony-based skills.
Resilience within this role is key, the role can be demanding on occasion as the team is affected by unpredictable weather events, but the job is rewarding and provides a great level of satisfaction. You will provide mitigation advice and be responsible for capturing essential information on the claim to set the file up correctly.
Most importantly, an empathetic approach is essential as you may be the first person the customer is able to speak with. You'll be able to put yourself in our customers' shoes, see the full picture and can make decisions based on the facts, treating all claims on their individual merits.
This team handles claims from a commercial property perspective, so if you are interested in insurance and progressing within this environment, a role like this would be perfect and can open opportunities for career development.
**Your skillset**
- You'll be happy and comfortable dealing with high call volumes
- Good level of education - at least to GCSE level or equivalent
- Previous experience in handling Commercial Property claims not essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with Customers, Clients and Colleagues
- Ability to demonstrate understanding and empathy throughout
