**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a diligent and motivated individual to join the Charging & Assessment Service, in Adult Social Care, in the varied and challenging role of Charging Technical Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of functions relating to financial assessments for adults accessing social care services including training design and delivery, quality assurance, complaint handling and providing effective support to team members and management.

The role entails a high level of contact with service users, providers, outside organisations e.g. solicitors and professional colleagues via telephone, Microsoft Teams, correspondence and face to face.
